Uterine Prolapse: How To Avoid Surgery In Case Of Prolapse Of Uterus?

Surgery is NOT the only option you have to get rid of those troublesome symptoms of uterine prolapse, which made you suffer in silence for so many days. Homoeopathic medicines, prescribed in the classical manner have the potential to improve your condition to a large extent, making the inconvenience of surgery unnecessary for you.

If only people were aware of the efficacy of Classical Homoeopathy in curing such conditions, there would have been much less suffering. In this post, I have discussed a case of uterine prolapse, treated successfully with Homoeopathy at my clinic.

Facts About Homoeopathic Treatment Of Uterine Prolapse

  • In complete repertory 156 homoeopathic medicines are listed under the heading of prolapse of uterus.
  • Homoeopathic medicine has to be prescribed on the basis of individualization.
  • Different patients suffering from same disease may require different medicines for cure.
  • Constitutional medicine of the patient, carefully selected according to the rules of classical homoeopathy, strengthens the pelvic musculature of the woman.
I have verified this fact in my practice. As an example, I will discuss here a case of second degree uterine prolapse associated with cystocele, which improved considerably with homoeopathy at my clinic.

Second Degree Uterine Prolapse With Cystocele - A Case Report

Mrs. AD, age 31 years, visited Hariom Homoeopathic Clinic with the following complaints:

1. Feeling as if something is coming out of the vagina. Some kind of soft swelling coming out of vagina (as the patient described it).

2. She had a feeling that uterus has descended into the vagina.
(Diagnosed as uterine prolapse by gynaecologist after P/V examination.)

3. Backache.

4. Difficult micturition with burning pain while urinating. She could not retain her urine for long which caused pain.

5. Also complained of headache and flatulence. (These symptoms are not related to prolapse but since patient suffered from these also, therefore I have mentioned them here.)

She had a seven year old daughter born through normal vaginal delivery.

What Mothers Should Know About Feeding A New Born Baby

It’s important that a mother should have the knowledge of correct ways of feeding her child, as proper feeding is essential for the healthy growth and development of the child. Here is some useful information:

#1. Breast milk is the best milk for your baby.
  • It contains essential nutrients for the baby in right quantity. (Cow’s milk has only 3 % of lactose which is not enough for the baby while breast milk has 7 % of lactose.)
  • It has an enzyme called lipase which helps to digest the fat.
  • It contains certain anti-infective factors ( Ig A, Interferon, Lysozymes etc) which give protection from bacterial and viral infections.(Milk powder can never provide these factors thus making the child prone to infections)
#2. Breastfeeding should be started within half an hour after normal delivery and within 4 to 6 hours after cesarean.
  • Establishes a loving bond between mother & child.
  • Provides colostrum (the first thick yellow discharge which is rich in antibodies, vitamins and minerals ) to the baby.
#3. For the first 6 months baby should be fed exclusively on   breast milk
  • No other food or fluid including water should be given
  • This reduces the chances of infection and allergies and provides complete nutrition to the baby.
  • After 6 months complementary food (mashed fruits, home made cereals etc) should be given in addition to breast milk)
  • Breast feeding should be continued for about 2 years.
#4. Feed the baby as often as he or she demands
  • Frequent feeding increases milk production.
  • Initially baby may feed at irregular intervals ( 6 to 12 or even 18 times in a day) but gradually as the lactation is established this will change into a more regular pattern.
#5. Feed the baby as long as he or she wants
  • Baby should be allowed to feed from one breast until he leaves on his own and then from the other breast.
  • Milk which flows in the beginning of feed ( Foremilk ) is rich in proteins and vitamins while the later flow ( Hindmilk ) is rich in fat and provides energy.
#6. Allow the baby to suckle in good position
  • While feeding much of the areola should be in baby’s mouth
  • With chin touching the breast and mouth wide open.
#7. Proper diet for the mother
  • Lactating mothers should have extra intake of home made food.
  • Green vegetables and fruits should also be included in the diet
#8. Guidelines for working mothers
  • If mother has to go out she can express her milk by hand while a helper may feed the baby in her absence from a clean cup.
  • This milk can be stored for up to 8 hours at room temperature and up to 24 hours in refrigerator.

Asthma - Cases Cured Without The Use Of Steroids

It is possible to treat asthma without using corticosteroids or nebulizers. Here are few examples of cured cases of asthma. But first, let's see what exactly is asthma.

What Is Asthma?

Asthma is a disease caused by increased responsiveness of the airways to various stimuli resulting in paroxysmal constriction of the airways manifested clinically as severe dyspnea accompanied by wheezing.

Between attacks the patient may be quite comfortable.

Recurrence of attacks

Recurrence and severity of attacks are greatly influenced by secondary factors, by mental or physical fatigue, by exposure to fumes, by endocrine changes at various periods of life, and by emotional situations.

Exposure of sensitive patients to inhaled allergens increases airway inflammation and symptoms which may develop immediately or 4 to 6 hours after their exposures.

Common aeroallergens

Common aeroallergens include:

  • House dust mites (often found in pillows, mattresses, furniture, carpets & drapes), cockroaches, cats and seasonal pollens.

Clinical Manifestations Of Asthma

  • Episodic or chronic symptoms of airflow obstruction: breathlessness, cough, wheezing, and chest tightness

  • Symptoms frequently worse at night or in the early morning.

  • Prolonged expiration and diffuse wheezes on physical examination.
